It seems people were too busy watching Portugal win the Eurovision Song Contest Finale to watch PornHub.

The porn site recorded a dramatic 10% drop in European site traffic when Eurovision aired last year.

In its 2017 Year In Review report, PornHub said: ‘This year’s major television events and live broadcasts have once again had an impact on traffic to the site.’

Other TV and Live Broadcast traffic changes include a 6% drop in American site traffic during the American Music Awards, 5% for the Academy Awards and 4% for both the Golden Globes and Grammys.

The UK gets a special mention with both the Strictly Come Dancing finale and Great British Bake Off finale clocking 8% and 3% drops respectively.

Huge increase in gay porn search for ‘Korean’

Curious about the most searched for term of people looking at gay porn?

For the second year in a row, ‘Japanese’ tops (no pun intended) the list. But interestingly, second on the list and up by 57 spots since last year is ‘Korean’.

Japan is number four in the top 20 countries by site traffic and South Korea is number 43.

Interestingly, ‘Straight’ dropped six places to number eight, replaced by ‘Straight First Time’ at number three and ‘Straight Friend’ at number four.

‘Daddy’, ‘Big Black Dick’ and ‘Twink’ also proved less popular last year, with both search terms losing some ground.
