Rapper Cardi B comes out as bisexual / LGBTQ Nation

Rapper Cardi B just tweeted that she has had “a lot” of romantic experiences with women.

Last week, Rita Ora came out with a single “Girls” – which featured Cardi B, Bebe Rexha, and Charli XCX – that was meant to be a bisexual anthem, but instead received criticism from LGBTQ people about its lyrics that presented bisexuality as a way to titillate straight men.

On Monday, Ora apologized for the song’s lyrics and said that they “represent my truth.”

“I have had romantic relationships with women and men throughout my life,” she tweeted.

Now Cardi B tweeted about her participation in “Girls.” She apologized for not knowing “the correct ‘terms’ to use.”

She also tweeted that the song was about her experiences too. “I personally myself had experiences with other woman, shieeett with a lot of woman!”

In her verse on “Girls,” Cardi B rapped about being “lipstick” and wanting “a kitten” instead of “a dog.”

Now I could be your lipstick, just for one night
Girls just wanna have fun and have their funds right […]

Tonight, I don’t want a dog, I want a kitten
I might French a girl from Great Britain

Last year, Cardi B announced her engagement to the rapper Offset.
